Arm & forearm dysfunction is a common modern complaint due to the rapid increase in
phone and computer usage. These problems can also arise from overuse and strain
due to hobbies are other activities, causing movement restrictions and pain.

As we explore these concepts, we will apply them to the specific concerns that can
cause arm pain. You will learn to differentiate between pain caused by trigger points,
nerve compression and dermatome patterns. Although the symptoms are similar, the
treatment varies as we get to the root cause of the problems.

Each course in the NMT series gives the student a deeper understanding of the scienceand bodywork applicable to a specific region. The three modalities in this presentation are myofascial treatment, trigger point therapy and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. Kinesiology of the arm and forearm will be reviewed.
