What is Thai Table Massage?

Thai Table Massage is a type of bodywork that utilizes traditional Thai massage techniques, performed on a massage table rather than a mat on the floor. It combines gentle assisted stretching, acupressure, and rhythmic compression to increase pain relief, improve flexibility, and improve circulation. The therapist uses their hands, elbows, forearms, and body weight to apply pressure to stretch the body, while the client is clothed.

There are no oils used in this method of bodywork.

Who can benefit?

Clients who experience back pain, headaches, anxiety or stress can all benefit from Thai massage, as well as athletes or those with a sedentary lifestyle looking to improve flexibility, muscle tension, and circulation. It is also beneficial for those with joint pain or stiffness, and can be adapted for people who are elderly or have specific needs.
