What is Rehabilitative Massage?
Rehabilitative Massage is an outcome based modality that aids in soft tissue recovery and rehabilitation from stress, illnesses, surgery, or trauma from sports or accidents.
A variety of tools and skills are used to help achieve recovery and restoration. The more “tools” that you have in the toolbox, the more likely you will find the right one(s) to help restore the affected areas.
As a Rehabilitative Massage Therapist, you will be able to assess the extent of the injuries and aftermath and build a plan for recovery. You will not only recognize characteristics of common injuries, but also be able to predict and recognize compensating and anchoring areas.
The Rehabilitative Massage Certification Course is built on the foundation of Sports Massage. The principles used to help athletes return to competition can be equally beneficial in helping any client in need of rehabilitation. This course will train and prepare therapists to use Sports Massage techniques as an effective tool for rehabilitation from all types of injuries.
